Region Ten Financial/Billing Resources

Any person who accesses Region Ten services is required to complete a Financial Agreement (Financial Agreement en Espanol). Region Ten CSB agrees to make every reasonable effort to file for any insurance or other third party coverage benefits.

Region Ten’s Billing Inquiries Line is 434-970-1248. This goes to a voicemail box. Reimbursement staff research questions and return calls within 24 hours and can discuss payment plan options. If you prefer, you may also email the reimbursement staff at billing@regionten.org. Billing questions may only be answered by the consumer unless the inquirer is listed in the electronic health record as an Authorized Representative, named on the Financial Interview paperwork, or a Consent to Release Information is on file.

If you do not have health insurance, Region Ten offers a sliding scale based on household income. If you wish to be considered for a reduced rate, please bring documentation of your income—such as Social Security statement, bank statements, paystubs—to your first appointment. A full list of acceptable forms of documentation may be found here.

Region Ten bills for face-to-face evaluation services, which includes crisis services for individuals who are assessed by a Region Ten clinician in the Emergency Department. No one is refused services if they cannot afford to pay. A sliding scale is available. We accept reimbursement from many health insurance plans, as well as Virginia Medicaid.
