The Region Ten Board of Directors is 14-member board of citizens representing service areas.
Board meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 4:00 pm in room 500-B at Region Ten’s Old Lynchburg Road Campus. All board meetings are open to the public and interested parties are encouraged to attend.
There will be no board meeting in January 2023.
View Meeting MinutesThe core of program services to be provided by the Region Ten Community Services Board shall include emergency services, outpatient and day-support services, residential services, prevention, early intervention, access to inpatient facilities and other appropriate mental health, developmental disability, and substance use programs necessary to provide a comprehensive system of services.
Be governed by clear personnel and operational policies and procedures designed to facilitate the provision of services, and shall meet the requirements of all applicable laws and regulations.
The Region Ten Community Services Board was established in 1969 by the Charlottesville City Council and the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors through a joint exercise of powers authorized under Chapter 10 of Title 37.1 of the Code of Virginia.
The Board is empowered to evaluate the need for community services, plan programs to meet these needs and to develop and operate services and facilities, or contract with other agencies to provide needed services.
